Wardak to see four development projects

Work on four development projects-a polyclinic, a central statistics department, provincial secretariat and a recreational park- was launched in central Maidan Wardak Province on August 9.

The polyclinic, due to be completed in 6 months, is a single-story structure with 8 room, toilets, halls and kitchens. The project is funded by Turkey, costing USD 210,000.

The building for central statistics department with nine rooms, toilets, kitchen and halls would cost 3.5 million Afs.

Including a football ground, the construction of a recreational park would be constructed by the Roshan Telecome Company in three months.

Another building for provincial employees will be constructed in six months. The projects will create work opportunities for about one hundred area youths.
