Seven Welfare Projects implemented in Samangan

The National Solidarity Program executed seven welfare projects in the Aybak city of Samangan Province.

According to the director of rural rehabilitation and development Eng. Sayed Mohammad Mujadidi, these projects include construction of four cultural and social centers, six culverts, two safe drinking water supplies, a bridge and water dams.

Mr. Mujadidi added that 10% of the cost of the projects came from contribution of the citizens.

The National Solidarity Program has implemented 349 projects in various villages of the Samangan province, of which 347 have been completed and the rest are in the process.

Costing 230mn AFN, the projects benefit thousands of households.
