New Road to Kunduz Airport

The construction of a new road to Kunduz airport, a Germany-funded project, inaugurated yesterday.

The road is 3km long and 7 km wide, according to Jawan Shir Head of Public Works of Kunduz. The road is expected to be completed within 9 months.

The project costs 1.4 million Euros, granted by Germany.

The agreement of the construction of the road was signed previously but the asphalting process started yesterday only, according to the sources.

    I think the report is wrong, 7km wide road, never heard of in any part of the world.
