5 Uplift Projects to Launch Soon in Afghanistan

Ministry of Public Works signed five uplif t projects agreements with different construction companies in Kabul.

Deputy Minister of Public Works, Najibullah Ozhan, signed the agreement with the companies if Ilyas-Wais, Nawi Bahar, Sahak, Sunat Emran-e-Sabz and Killid-e-Tellaye.

As per the agreement, the companies will build the road between Hada and HAsaka Mina with up to 16 km, the road of Zarghon Shahr to Badshah Khan Zadran in Sayed Karam district with the length of 4.4 km, and the road between Sheberghan and Khwaja Dokoh distrct with the length of 4.4 km  would be asphalted.

Under the project a bridge with the length of 30 km in Dykundi province and the raod to the Chall district would be constructed and completed within 6 months to one year.

The expenses of the five projects would be paid from the budget of the Ministry of Public Works. The Minister warned that the companies are expected to build the bridge and asphalt the roads with full accountability.
